Let's get emotional!

I left Finland on 12th May. I'm pretty sure that it's not the last time that i was there but still it was very hard to leave. In the last 3 weeks, i started to like being there more and more with every single day. At the end it was much more cruel to leave Oulu than to leave Rovaniemi in August.
i don't think that I love Finland because of the simple fact of doing an exchange there. I think I really love it...
So let's get emotional! I'll cry here my misery!:)

I miss...

- The bridges and smaller and bigger rivers of Oulu (the sights and the sounds as well)

- Drinking lactose free milk for lunch!
- The summer syndrome: the sun shining into my face through the curtains and wakes me up at 3!
- experiencing the continuous changes of the nature!
- not being able to see the first leaves of the trees
- crazy Finnish people who eats salmiakki and lakritsi because they find it great and who bakes black cakes

- not being able to learn more stuff about nature from my "Finnish father" (more birdwatching and more fishing and...)

- adorable, kind, sweet-bitter-melancholic type of people
- all those who hugged me in the last days :D
- the evil factories

- the traditions: special things to do, special drinks and food for only that day.(Glögi, Runeberg's cake, laskiaispulla and the strange soup, mämmi, sima etc.)
- her legendary bike (which was owned once by Octavi, the God and Alicja in Rovaniemi), biking 16km/day, speeding in the forest, no people on the roads

- that special mild type sunshine
- Finnish people, yeah, again, all of them...And you can take it to yourself!
- people speaking a language which i hardly understand
- berry juice (especially lingonberry and cranberry-grapes)
- cheap good-quality icecream in paperbox and terva flavoured icecream on the streets:)
- Irish beer in the pub (Yeah, i miss beer... :P)
- Vesku and our highly intellectual conversations
- tidy Finnish homes with very comfortable couch
- vesibussi(the party bus aka line 69) and lame songs played there

- St. Patrick's day and Irish jam sessions
- fluffy, clean, family member dogs and cats
- Vappu = crazy Finnish people drinking in overalls and having all day long picnic outside in 10 degrees :)

- Finnish winter and summer :D

- nice, not so drunk people in the pubs who says hi and start concersation without any particular reason
- people who talks to each other honestly with respect
- calmness, stressfull life (addictive indeed)
- crazy concerts with Socke
- speeding with my bike and not meeting anyone on the streets
- all kind of Finnish traditions with sometimes strange, sometimes delicious but always special foods and drinks

Hehe, that's all for today! :)
